Two new set images from Pinewood Studios in London for the film 'Prometheus' has been released. The images from the Ridley Scott directed film show some of the interiors for the alien locations the crew discovers, similar to the H.R. Giger-inspired designs from the original films. 'Prometheus' will be in theaters on June 8th 2012.

We also have our first glimpse of Plano, Illinois being transformed into the fictional Kansas town of Smallville for Warner Bros. 'Man of Steel'. Released via their facebook page, it shows the false fronts and extended buildings that are under construction to show the devastated town after a freak meteor shower brings an otherworldly visitor to the planet. Zack Snyder directs and Henry Cavill stars in the superhero action film, arriving in theaters in 2012.

Your first look at the new Wayne Manor is here. Wollaton Park in Nottingham, England will be used as the home of Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) and the secret lair of Batman in 'The Dark Knight Rises':

Comment by Yourbigpalal83 on July 7, 2011 at 11:00pm Im wondering how the batcave will be handled? Same kinda roughly makeshift as seen in Batman Begins or more constructed, with platforms, and giant pennies and stuffed Dinosaurs like in the comics (god i hope not).
As for superman, im getting superman 2 flashbacks when Zod n crew blew up that small town to call out superman, but its cool i liked that scene!
As for Prometheus I'm kinda digging the idea. I see no reason why there cant be a sorta prequel to Alien, but sans Ripley! (her appearing in a prequel makes absolutely no sense what so ever)

Comment by randy on July 7, 2011 at 2:55pm I remember one element I liked about Superman returns was the flashback scene, Clark remembering the first time he ever learned he could fly was a clever moment.
Comment by CHEEZYSPAM on July 7, 2011 at 11:57am @MysticJaden, Actually? you are right. Prometheus is the official title to the new Alien movie. When they 1st started writing the script it was done as a straight up Alien prequel and was even rumored to have a young Ellen Ripley in it. Damon Lindelof got the script and rewrote it (but kept many of the primary elements from the original, sans Ripley). The main plot is to see where the Space Jockey's came from and how their story is involved in the Alien universe. The Aliens themselves are not supposed to really be in this (at least not in the way that we know them) the idea here is that we have always seen them as Human host Aliens, in A3 we saw what they would look like in animal form, here we are going to have a completely new concept based on another lifeform serving as host.
I can't wait to see what they're going to do with this movie! It's a big budget sci-fi film with Ridley Scott back at the helm! it's kind of a "pinch me" moment... is this actually FINALLY happening?! ^_^
Comment by Muffin-Of-Doom on July 7, 2011 at 10:35am Rises and Prometheus FTW!
As much as I'm a fan of Snyder (though I'm iffy about watching Sucker Punch), I'll wait until I see some footage of the film.

Comment by Happy Birthday Roboto on July 7, 2011 at 8:46am (Hmmm, last arguement settled, what else can I say now?) Well how come Wayne Manor looks like it's at least two hundred years old complete with dirt and grime and ivy growing up the wall when it would only have been built a few weeks ago in movie timeline? Do contractors in Gotham take that long to build something that by the time the roof is built the ground floor is old enough to collect a pension, or do they use Flash's powers to invert space time (no I don't know how the DC Universe works it's confusing)? :(
Either that or they'll make it look brand new before shooting the film! :)
