As we reported just this week, things have gotten rolling on Robert Rodriguez's 'Machete Kills' the sequel to his 2010 trailer-turned-feature. The movie would see Danny Trejo returning as one of cinema's most violent vigilantes. Well before you could say, "Machete don't text," the first poster was online. Technically this is sales art for the movie, but that's splitting hairs. Initially there were murmurs of a trilogy, but the word now is that 'Machete Kills' will feature its own 'Grindhouse' style fake trailer for 'Machete Kills Again...In Space.'The future of that sensationally titled third installment hinges on the financial success of part two. Still not sure I'm sold on either sequel, in fact I'm not at all, but the title for the third got a laugh out of me so maybe all is not lost. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.

I'd rather see Machete Kills than I would Bad Ass, the movie loosely based on Epic Beard Man. What's next? Machete Bit My Finger? Machete Goes To The Dentist?

"Machete don't go to no dentist!"

The political agenda within the first 10 minutes of the first film made me puke. I walked out. Would be interesting if Rodriguez actually made a real movie out of this the next time around.

really did not like the first one.Danny Trejo actually did a alright job,but  everyone else's acting was so bad IMO especially Jessica Alba and that one kid that would act like a cholo (wow what dumb character). It would be awesome if it was just a simple story of Machete cleaning out a town or city overrun by Narcos or just taking out a cartel.

That shit would be great because the Narcos, really are going fucking crazy down in Mexico and in some border towns.Leaving limbs and decapitated bodies all over the place. That shit is going down right now for real.(Some lady that just blogged about the narco violence got her chopped off by them. That shit really happened!)Lets have Machete Chop it there, and leave it at that.No space bullshit.it could be great if Robert Rodriguez would just cut back on the silliness.

I just really think a great action movie with a good story is waiting to be made about all the Narco drama going on right now,who will make it?Doesn't look like it's going to be Robert Rodriguez.

wasn't a fan of Machete, but this is a cool poster.

Less political salt, more Planet Terror seasoning, and this could be delicious.
