Believe me, this is not a joke. For anyone who is a fan of Rurouni Kenshin (myself included), it has been announced that a live-action film of the series is currently in the works. The good news: it's NOT a hollywood production, though there have been multiple offers, all of which have been rejected by the original creator himself. My guess is he didn't want to take any chances with Hollywood. Anyway the only other bit of news so far is that Kenshin has actually been cast. Here is his actor:

His name is Takeru Satoh, best known as Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-o. The staff have deemed him to be fit for the role and personally I agree. I hope it works out.

PS: This was the first blog I have ever posted so any advice about how I could improve later post would be very appreciated.

There was never a live-action Samurai X. As for the story nothing's been confirmed or even released for that matter.

Extra excited :DDDDDDD Although I hope it doesn't look like a cosplay disaster.... I've seen hair color that didn't match the anime at all D:

Question though: Is this a live action movie of the WHOLE tv series? And, was a live action movie ever done for Samurai X?

I'm all for it...but the dark shadow that still hangs over me after the M. Shy disaster with "Avatar" has me worried. Will history repeat itself!? Crossing my fingers!
