Rumor: Rachel Weisz as Catwoman in the Next Batman?

Take this one with a grain of very tiny salt but Eonline (in Ted Casablanca's 'The Awful Truth' Blog) says that Warner Bros. sources are leaking that Rachel Weisz is being considered for the role of Catwoman in the next installment of Batman.
The studio however, isn't officially saying anything. But other insiders working on the next installment, to follow up where The Dark Knight left off, say the third film is a go with Bale returning as well as Christopher Nolan in the Director's seat.
I don't think it's wise to believe any rumors concerning the Batman franchise at this point. But if there's any truth to this, what does Spill Nation think about this?

My 2 cents. Racheal Weiz is one of the most bone-able women in hollywood, Catwoman is the most bone-able woman in comics. Put them together and you have bone-ablity of epic proportions.

I have a feeling that if they put catwoman in the next film her costume will probably be similar to batman armoured style suit as appose to a skin tight latex outfit, I am mean come on she's a female version of batman if you think about it when it comes to her abiltys and custume, and christan bale likes to put his touch on these batman villians like what he did with joker of making him a guy with a painted face instead of having bleached skin.

Of course, I was the one that thought Danny Huston would have made a great Joker.
Ideally, for me, they should wait 10 years, re-unite Bale and Nolan and do Dark Knight Returns. That would be a first in movies and I think it would be huge.

Meh. ANYONE remotely attractive can play Catwoman. All ya have to do is act overtly coquette-ish and bingo. So casting doesn't really matter as far as that characters concerened

I recently did a blog on this, and at the same time plugged a website, Batman-On-Film.com.
My thoughts. I think Nolan should wait a few years after Bale is done playing John Conner to worry about who should be left to the duties of casting director or let alone play certain parts, especially Catwoman. I'm with MDS who says speculation means nothing until it is confirmed.
