'Resident Evil 4' Coming in September 2010

Shock Till You Drop reports that Sony's Screen Gems is shooting for a September 17th, 2010 release for the fourth Resident Evil installment, to be titled Resident Evil: Afterlife.
The ending of the third film, Resident Evil: Extinction, left the door wide open for another sequel, with a shift to Tokyo, Japan.
Paul W.S. Anderson revealed late last year he was indeed writing the next film.

Do people honestly go see these movies? I could barely sit through the first one it was so dull. I can't even remember if I saw to the end of the second one as it fluctuated between two different kinds of stupid I didn't know even existed, and the third I just promptly ignored. But #4, really?
Paul W.S. Anderson should not be allowed anywhere near a keyboard unless it's to write a justification on why this movie should ever be made.

Wow! how can you make such flat, lifeless, so called Horror films Inferior in every way to a bunch of games!?
It should be pretty straight forward - Budget + zombies + plenty of scary scenarios from the excellent games = shitifying horror series, instead you get a few dogshit second rate cruddy movies?
