Removing Spill's dead weight members

Let's be honest not everybody is articulate and engaging in starting blogs and such (like me), if anything some people may just enjoy the pretty sights and colors. For that it's forgivable, but there's another element that should be scrutinized more, the trolls that pretend to be girls just to get hits, making up film or historical figures as members, and people who are more oriented toward other interests such as music.
For most it's simply the myspace spill over, and perhaps the problem is that very mindset of just getting another free page on the web.
Solutions:
Suspend all inactive accounts ---six months or more of inactivity means the person is not interested in being part of the community.

Dump the fetish trolls that make up members of the female sex or some other figure (get a life asswipe).

Don't offer invites, serious members only.

It's ok to be a passerby if that's what's more interesting, just don't be dead weight.

We all hate trolls and weirdos but when you start regulating who or what kind of people can be on the site, this just opens bag of trouble. Yes, Spill can do better but when you have a popular site, like Spill, your gonna have all types of people and we'll gonna all have to learn to accept them, in one way or another!

You know what Zack your probably right, I just wanted to keep Spill from being an infantile joke for someone beng bored.
And no your not being a jerk.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but this is the Internet. I realize you have good intentions, though, and in theory that's a good idea. Just getting it work is much more difficult.

My apologies to the first commenter, I deleted your reply by accident.

Well Zeek I'll reconsider the music part, although my understanding is that Spill is geared toward movies and pop culture.

I can't say 100% but when the profile is very generic and vague, and the photo a little to "Top Model", let's just say it's a little suspect.

Question #1: Why kick out people (like Greg in LEOG) who are a member of this site but happen to fancy music more than movies?

Question #2: How can you tell that those fetish trolls are not actually the girls they post pictures of?

The MySpace spill over is mostly over on Facebook now, and soon Twitter. It will be a while before they end up on Spill, which by all facial apperances comes off more as a movie review site than a social network. Just my observations.
