Comment by PoisonPirate on November 6, 2012 at 12:12am So with you on Cabin in the Woods! I loved it and was kind of bewildered when I heard the reasons some of the LEOG members didn't like it.
Sure, you have to accept that not everyone is going to like the same things as you, even if it's something you really love, but I thought for sure, if anyone, the LEOG would be unanimously in favor of Cabin in the Woods.

When you described American Horror Story, it perfectly summed up how I feel about Glee.
Comment by Shield of Frozen Injustice on October 10, 2012 at 6:03pm My problem with The Avengers is that it seemed too summer blockbustery. I liked it, it's a solid movie with nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really outstanding to me. It had that summer movie feel that movies like Transformers movies had (not comparing the two as movies, just the summer blockbuster feel that both had). I disagree with the point that The Dark Knight Rises wasn't as fun as I had so much fun on what they were going to do and how it would weave together as I figured some of the major points somewhat early on, but that's because I know about the comics and such.
Comment by Grant Ellison McGee on October 10, 2012 at 12:30am I don't know why this line of Cyrus describing American Horror Story made me chuckle so much, but it did...
"It's haunted as shit, I mean it's haunted as all fuck!"
(...i seriously rewound that part, like, ten times...)
Comment by Jon Riddle on October 9, 2012 at 5:45am No love for Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, huh? Looks like a classic "Damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation. A sequel gives the audience more of the same and people don't like it. A sequel gives the audience something wildly different -- and people don't like it.
Given how goofy the title of this franchise is when you say it (say it out loud to yourself and then tell me it doesn't sound utterly absurd) TCM2 is the kind of crazy, over-the-top zaniness I would expect from such a ludicrous title. Watch it again and you may wind up liking it much better the second time around. I know I did.

Comment by Stephen Landry on October 5, 2012 at 4:27am It's really bizarre that Cyrus talked to people who criticized Cabin in the Woods for not being scary. If people where unable to grasp from the opening scene that it wasn't the film's intention to be a standard horror film, that point should have been hammered home by(no serious spoilers) its balls out, cluster fuck of a finale. Also, damn its good to see Richard Jenkins in any worthwhile project, I love that guy.

Comment by Davril Chorster on October 4, 2012 at 7:15pm Hey critics, the mutants on the Cursed Earth, in the Judge Dredd comics, look like the mutants from The Hills Have Eyes.
