I actually really like Being Flynn. Much more than the book, that is. But Flowers of War is absolutely spectacular.

I bought my sister the Adventure Time season 1 DVD set for her birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed watching it together. And we're both in our 20s.

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention the hysterical Behind the Scenes feature. It starts out as a really dull tour of the office for the first two or three minutes before cartoon Finn shows up to terrorize the employees and a bunch of other drugged-out shit happens.

I don't see what the big deal is with the Chinese villifying the Japanese. We still cartoonishly villainize the Nazis.

Great episode, but seriously, the puns are getting worse and worse. You guys might as well start doing knock-knock jokes and keep a horn prop that you can honk.

btw: another movie to check out regarding the japanese occupation of china check out Black Sun: The Rape of Nanking (may have spelled that wrong). You wanna talk about over the top violence, that's almost all the movie is, and whats worse, the end credits state that the producers could only show the viewers a small fraction of the atrocities that actually occurred. China does not care for Japan in a big way.....

Oooh, great episode. Loved the transitions.

To Cyrus, as a fan of MLP, I give you the thumbs up for atleast giving the show the old college try. But even me, as someone who really enjoys that show...I still think Adventure Time is the best cartoon on television right now. It's brilliant...and I can't wait to buy that Season 1 DVD. (Which thank god, a cartoon show with a full season to buy!)

Thanks for giving it a watch Cyrus! It's not for everyone but as much as I love Adventure Time, MLP will have a special place in my heart due to it's a fandom.
