Red Band '21 Jump Street' Trailer
When I heard they were doing a big screen version of '21 Jump Street,' I was a bit taken aback. When I heard the stars would be Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, I had to further scratch my head. But now that we finally have this red band trailer (looks like Jonah did win that Twitter contest) I gotta say I’m interested. What instills a lot of good will, at least with me, is that the movie seems to be making fun of itself just enough to acknowledge the fact that this was a strange property to resurrect. Enjoy all the yucks, the pratfalls, and the skinny Jonah. As it is a red band trailer, be aware that it is NSFW.

Looks a lot better than I imagined it be. Though it is slated for the dreaded Winter period where risky and utterly shit films are released. Here's hoping it breaks the mold

Okay. I does look funny. Here is an example where Channing Tatum's ability to mirror the acting chops of a block of solid oak really do work for him. Whatever happened to that movie where he's the husband of the woman who lost her memory? I remember seeing one trailer for that and thinking to myself this would be a good movie if he could actualy emote a human emotion. But, I never saw the trailer again.

*Doctor Horrible Side takes over* Gratuitous language and childish behavior, obsessive cultural references and a Family Guy level glorification of violence. This trailer actually made me angry, that rarely happens. I think the problem is I've seen 21 Jump Street, and this is NOT 21 Jump Street. This is a distilled version of the premise coasted in Jonah Hill typical BS, which is exactly how the pitch went to Hollywood I bet. Grrr! *Returns to Doctor Who side* I look forward to your review guys, if it's good please convince the logical side of my brain that this is worth seeing...
