I was definitely disappointed relative to my expectations. The story just didn't pop. But I loved looking at it - especially Depp and Bale! ;P You can 'look at' me, and listen to my dad, review it at: www.youtube.com/gabndad
Dillinger's relationship with his girlfriend is laughable as a story that we're supposed to care about. She's the Eva Braun of this story and I don't see how anyone could seriously feel for her and her 'loss.' Her loss was civil society's gain.
Right, because everytime I see a movie based on true events, I head to the history books first. And none of the history books I've read mentioned this subject. So should I have searched more? Should it have even mattered? No. And I doubt every single person who has read a history book and saw this movie glanced upon the subject. They didn't say anything concerning reading about the history of The Great Debaters and it being in a book despite the alterations to the film, did they?
Read a book? Exactly how many people read No Country for Old Men before seeing the movie and being able to understand it from start to finish? Anyone here?
What the fuck is wrong with Johnny Depp for Leon to hate on him. Alot of Johnny Depps movies were badass, so why the fuck do you hate on DEPP for Leon ?
