Over the course of my 17 year existence on this earth I have watched

many, MANY films (More so than the average kid at my age I'm willing to bet). When I was younger my family would at least go to the theaters every week despite if anything potentially good was playing.

Having seen many films l imagine that I have somewhat of a knowledgeable and respected opinion but I feel that I haven't seen a broad enough selection of the classics or the best of the best and the worst of the worst (and all in between). I've seen a lot of the main stream type of films and regarded classics but I want to see some of the stuff that has gone forgotten or despite being a great film not having mass appeal due to bad marketing or any number of reasons.

My mission is to lengthen the list of movies I've seen to better appreciate the great from the good and the bad to the gauging of the eyes and ears. I want others to watch different types of movies in order to broaden what kind of movies they enjoy or to better realize what they really like or really hate. All in all I'm doing this to create a much more fun and appreciative experience for myself (and whoever wishes to follow in my foot steps) when going to the theaters.

Thanks for reading.

I'm fifteen, write movie reviews on my blog, and I've been thinking about the exact same thing. Except I live an hour from the nearest theatre so I have to be choosey about what I see :P
