Wait... Did I read that right?

Yep. I sure did. This must be the part where I move to another country. I mean... seriously? You're asking for a bailout? I understand that almost everyone is experiencing tough economic times, but come on! The porn industry? Asking for a bailout?

Now, I do see how every industry is effected by this downturn in the economy, but I think that it is beyond tactless for the "Adult Entertainment" industry to ask for a federal bailout; they are most definitely not essential to the economy.

They were the ones who did help resolve the Blu-Ray v HD-DVD war after all but the porn industry will never die.

Just having the BALLS (no pun intended) to actually call out the bullshit practice of Government GIVING money to poorly run businesses is genius. I hope to GOD that they actually get approved because it just goes to show that the government should NEVER give money to businesses.
