Disney/Pixar has released the third trailer for 'Cars 2'. The first half of the latest trailer puts a slightly stronger emphasis on Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and the World Grand Prix to remind audiences that the sequel will not solely focus on the misadventures of tow-truck turned super spy Mater (Larry The Cable Guy):
'Cars 2' also stars Michael Caine, Emily Mortimer, Tony Shalhoub, Bonnie Hunt, and Cheech Marin and will be in theaters on June 24th.

I'm with you man. I think Pixar has by far the best track record of any animation studio. The first Cars movie was mediocre. I don't think they should've made a sequel though.
I'm worried about this movie.

Comment by Einrick Quiznos on May 14, 2011 at 9:31am I'm still waiting to see what Pixar is doing with their upcoming original "Brave". I think Cars 2, like it's predecessor, is focused on the younger demographic, so it's jokes don't work as well for young adults or older. Mainly, I think this is just a studio cash grab. I don't really think it's going to be horrible, though. Just generic.
As far as other animated movies, I'm super interested in the new Tin Tin movie by Steven Speilberg....
ps, I love animated movies....
