Dimension Films, in their latest bout of stunt-casting, have signed former 'Baywatch' boss himself David Hasselhoff to appear in the horror sequel 'Piranha 3DD'. Expect at least one scene of a lifeguard running in pec-jiggling slow motion.

The film will apparently be taking place in a big wet water park (conveniently called "Big Wet Water Park") which becomes infested with the prehistoric man-eating fish. If that premise makes little to no sense to you ("why can't they just leave the park?")... well, let's just say that you don't go to a blood-and-gore filled nudity fest like 'Pirahna' for the complex and nuanced storyline.

The film also recently cast toothed wonder Gary Busey and cheap-comedy staple David Koechner, as well as pulling a fast one on audiences by featuring the return of previous cast member Christopher Lloyd and the seeming resurrection of Paul Scheer and Ving Rhames (even though one died and the other was presumed dead in the previous film).

The over-the-top tongue-in-cheek schlockfest is being directed by 'Feast' director John Gulager and will be in theaters November 23rd.

We might get a scene where the hoff is running in slowmotion and the batwatch theme song plays in the background lol

When will this fucker die. He's been riding his mild successes for like 10-15 years now. Dont hassle the hoff! Hur dur dur. Hilarious. He's like a more outlandish Regis Philbin, completely full of themselves and will do anything to show how "awesome" they are.

Keep him the fuck out of my cheesy, boobular gorefest if the only reason he's there is to make some retarded baywatch joke.

I hope he does more than that coz this is the best movie news to come in a while

Maybe the hoff will get a scene or two like Jerry o'connell in the first film after the piranha started to attack everyone

So all these people and Gianna Michaels?  I fear the universe may collapse on itself.

I enjoyed the last Piranha 3-D as a guilty pleasure of tits, ass, and half eaten teenagers. Who wouldn't want to be an extra in this series of gags? Plus, hilarious cameo with Giana Michaels can only guess what's going to appear in this one...

Will Hasselhoff be playing the village drunk? Busey as his stoner buddy? (hmmmm maybe we know what happened to "Bill and Ted" when they grew up/got old? ) Killer fish in a water park?? Actually, that could be funny as hell
