If it's crap... We'll tell you

Source: Latino Review

Latino Review has a rumor that Kung Fu Panda director John Stevenson has been tapped to helm a live-action He-man and the Masters of the Universe movie.

Supposedly, Kung Fu Panda director John Stevenson went in to the Silver offices, came in and did this killer take on He-man and the Masters of the Universe and got himself the job!

Stevenson's only directing credit is Kung Fu Panda (for which he shared directing duties with Mark Osborne)

This is still unconfirmed so take it with a grain of salt

Wow looks like hollywood is Desperate for ideas for films. I would Wonder what kind of movies the Spill crew would make personaly if they have unlimited funds and creativity, but would probably end up making an expensive but tasteless porno.(joke)

I'm actually excited to see this project moving forward. But, then I'm an 80's guy.

Magic drugs and He-man go hand in hand. I'm up for a He-man movie.

Seeing as Kung Fu Panda is, in my mind, the only good Dreamworks Animation film to date (granted, I haven't seen any of their traditionally animated films), and considering nothing can be worse than Masters of the Universe, quite possibly one of the worst movies of the 80s, I'd say this is a really good match up. Let's just hope he doesn't gay it up like the show did, or talk about "magic drugs."

Wasn't there already a He-Man live action movie? That sucked HORRIBLY?

... Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous to make a kid's show like He-Man all epic and serious with CGI? Don't get me wrong, Transformers gave off that vibe too, ya know, the one where you're like, "Kid's show/toy = teen and/or adult targeted film?"

LOL NEXT UP WILL PROBABLY BE A THUNDERCATS LIVE ACTION. SNARF SNARF.
