Our First Look At 'The Amazing Spider-Man's Villain Is...A Pez Dispenser?

Apparently an actual first look at The Lizard, the villain in the upcoming 'Amazing Spider-Man,' was presented at this year's Comic-Con. But for those of us who didn't get to go, and I'm willing to bet there are a lot of you reading this who, like me, are in that same boat, our first look at the vicious antagonist is...a Pez dispenser? Yup, our first inclination as to what Rhys Ifans ('The Replacements,' 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1') will look like as The Lizard comes from these recently released sugar-delivering marketing tools. Hopefully we'll get an actual image soon. Take a look at the dispensers for The Lizard and Spider-Man (who will be played by Andrew Garfield) below.

LOL, all this hate is crazy, it really isn't bad at all. It looks like a lizard man, and that's good enough for me, but, then again, I've never really cared about how the Spidey villains look, in the comics or films, because I really didn't come to see or read about them in the first place. All I care about is how Spidey beats them up. Lol, Spidey could fight a brick wall, for all I care, as long as he does it in a cool  stylish way, I'm happy.

hey vinh and mark, the studio announced it on Nov 21st, so that's not really ages ago, and spill actually never posted anything about it. On the 21st they talked about Dark knight Magazine covers. So sorry that I think the Dark knight prologue is more interesting info then discussing a pez dispenser from a franchise which didn't need to be rebooted. and if I'm wrong about spill not posting it, please share the link with me and I'll rescind my comment. I have no issue with admitting I'm wrong and just missed their announcement

P.S. A troll is someone who makes a derogatory statement on a message board that is designed to illicit a negative response from the majority of those who post on said site. The statement is usually designed to go counter to what everyone else is saying and is done for fun on the part of the poster, Nothing in my previous statement fits any of that criteria, so if you're gong to call someone a troll. Actually know what that word means and use the word correctly.

the more you know...

I just hope that sometime in the near future Disney will be able to get the rights back to the franchise i would like to see how they would incorporate Spidey into their world.

The lizard looks just like Grigg from The Last Starfighter. If you're too young to remember, google is there for you.

Then he would be too much like a lycan or something.

Lizard was suppose to be the villain in part 4. if you follow the time line that would have been the next logical adversary.

I think they were also going to try and do a Venom Lizard Hybrid which would have been interesting

See the Doctor still had a sample of the symbiote. When he was transforming into the lizard for the first time he broke the container that held the symbiote and it attached its'self to the lizard. That makes sense to me being that is sort of what happens in Web of Shadows.

Might be just mid transformation
