Basically what QbanKnight and Tommy said, Coyote Falls and Day and Night should definitely be AT LEAST the nominees. Both of them had a bit of that "classic- short" charm to them, but of course that's not really the only reason at least for me. Anyway, those two cartoons were terrific and for Coyote Falls being a new Looney Tunes cartoon, I was really impressed with it.

Gotta love the Looney Tunes violence. This new one has the classic Chuck Jones feel. Not a fan of the shot at the end though. Seems kinda like a gimmicky 3D shot, but oh well.

Do they ever release these to the public somehow? Maybe as an extra on a DVD?

Too bad the Tale of the Three Brothers from Deathly Hallows can't be nominated for animated short. That was beautiful.

Oh wow...I've never seen Coyote Falls before

That looks like the TRUE successor to the Looney Tunes franchise. It's got the classic kind of humor that made the originals so much fun while also utilizing all the technology afforded to animators in the present.

I'm with Tommy, this and Day and Night are the frontrunners for the award

Coyote Fall (thanks to Giant Boy Detective) and Day and Night are both great and I hope they're both nominated.
