Focus Features has released the first trailer for the film 'One Day', adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name. The film follows the two-decade-long friendship of ambitious working-class Emma (an accent-slinging Anne Hathaway), and Dexter (Jim Sturgess) - a charmer from a wealthy family who treats the world as his playground. The two meet on the day of their graduation in 1988 and develop a friendship that helps them through love, loss, success, failures and shattered dreams. Over the years the two will come to realize the real value and impact they've had over each others lives and that what they've been searching for has been there all along.

Yeah...basically a British "When Harry Met Sally." Jim Sturgess reminds me a bit of Chace Crawford at certain angles. Although since I'm a girl and like romance movies, I'll probably Netflix this at some point.

I like both Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway, but this doesn't look interesting at all. It looks like a typical genre exercise and nothing more, and considering I'm not a big fan of the romance genre in the first place, I doubt I'll ever see this. Of course, my mother will probably want me to watch it with her... Shit.
