Via the film's official Facebook page, director Francis Ford Coppola has unveiled brand new images from his upcoming experimental film 'Twixt'. Starring Val Kilmer as a failed writer who is visited by a mysterious ghost in his dreams, the film takes advantage of current 3D technology as well as a whole new system in which the film is dynamically edited and changed - on the fly while it is being "performed" in the theater - so that no two viewings of the film are ever alike. At this year's Comic Con, the director talked in depth about the techniques involved which include the ability to instantly edit scenes from "short versions" to "long versions", or to change the music that plays behind a scene to make it lighter or more sinister, etc. When performed and edited in such a way, the film's overall tone can be drastically changed from dark and horror-filled to more lighthearted and campy, based upon the audience's reactions:
