I will only make this short but TO HELL WITH THE OSCARS! I know The Road was not the huge film it should have been but the look, The feel, The heart that moved had in it truly rivals any of those films (well most of them) and what shocks me more then anything was the SNUBBING! of Viggo Mortensen.

Viggo Mortensen in the role of the father (or The Man) was out of this god damn world, Dropping the weight he had to do and going from what most women consider a decent looking guy to become a busted up, hairy, skinny, ratty looking son of a bitch and gives us a performance worthy of respect and yet the Oscars seem fit to snub him....Not to say these other actor are bad in their parts because they are all good actors HOWEVER was if you ask me what acting is well it isn't George Clooney playing George Clooney.

As for best picture .AVATAR, THE HURT LOCKER, INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS, PRECIOUS, UP IN THE AIR, UP
AN EDUCATION, A SERIOUS MAN, DISTRICT 9 and THE BLIND SIDE.....Ok Quentin Tarantino hate me now but that is bullshit! I love the guy for giving us films like Dogs and Pulp but he seems to copy himself when making films rather then just make good movies....I don't know maybe it's just me (BUT I AM HAPPY AS HELL TO SEE DISTRCIT 9 IN THERE)

Well it's 2:30am in the morning and I just had to have my little rant, I am sure most disagree with me on this but DAMN YOU ALL :) no I guess everyone has the right to voice their thoughts here which is why it just shits me a good NO a Great film like THE ROAD gets a great big kick in the ass and gets nothing and yet films that are decent get a lot of glory based totally on the film makers name or it's fan base....hmmmmm Oh well what did I expect it is the Oscars after all.
