Latino Review got a chance to talk to Mr. T, who said that he won't be making a cameo appearance in next summer's The A-Team movie.

The site reported:

He said it wasn't about money, because he turned down the chance to appear in the film before that was even discussed. He said it just wouldn't be right for him to be in it. If his B.A. isn't the main guy, then why do it? What's wrong with the film that they need him to make a cameo? Plus they would market the film with him being in it, and he didn't want his friends and family to think he would have some big role when he wouldn't. He told me he has nothing against the cast or even the fact that they're doing a remake. But a cameo is just something he wasn't interested in.

Opening in theaters on June 11th, The A-Team stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley.

I loved the van as a kid and there were some sad people who got an old Bedford van and made it look like the A teams, however the best part of the A team was when they used to fire about two clips of ammunition and miss everything? Not really A more of a D-!

His choice, doesn't change my position on the film one way or the other, which until I see a trailer, is right now just meh.

GOTTA RESPECT MR.T'S DECISION NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS NEEDLESS MOVIE' THE A-TEAM WILL BE A BOMB AT THE BOX OFFICE IF WERE LUCKY- THEN HOLLYWOOD JACK-ASSES WILL REALIZE- HEY- LETS USE OUR BRAINS AND BE CREATIVE FOR ONCE AND NOT REMAKE EVERY CLASSIC SHOW OR MOVIE BECAUSE WERE ALL MONEY-HUNGRY ASSES WHO DISRESPECT TRUE HISTORIC CINEMA AND REMAKE STUFF JUST TO SATISFY OUR OWN AGENDA. YAY MR.T- YOU ARE A VERY SMART MAN FOR SAYING NO TO THIS PIECE OF CRAP FILM''.

I think Mr.T is a cultural icon. He seems to have a resurgance every five years or so (ex.1-800-collect and now WoW) the last I heard he was doing the religious hustle on TV. I just hope he isnt as mentally ill as Adam West was when he was expecting to play Batman in the 1990 version of the film.

Maybe not 100% relevant, but reminded me of this...

I figured this guy would grab any chance to get back into the spotlight. Maybe he was pissed that he couldn't get a big role or maybe he is content with being the face of World of Warcraft, or could it be that he isn't horny for media attention anymore?
