But this movie was... Enh. Let's not mention Ashton Walden Kutcher turned in a terrible fucking performance. The one thing though that greatly disturbed me was Sarah Jessica Parker and Fergie's boyfriend/husband getting together. Buhhhh.

The idea behind it is that celebrity worship is such an integral part of American culture that people will go and see these actors as if there old friends...they don't even care if there's a story or even a plot, really...so long as they get to see all the people they read about in the tabloids come together and have a great time. It's a bit disgusting really...the idea that Hollywood can be as lazy as they want simply because there's this insane hero-worship for celebrities.
