If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Hector Fernando Andrade JR. II posted a statusThings are looking promising for James Mangold's 'The Wolverine.' I can't quite put my adamantium claw on it, but I am quite optimistic for Hugh Jackman's next turn as this roguish superhero. Recently, this image of Jackman on set hit the web accompanied by a great quote from Mangold. I too always want Wolverine to feel like he's ready for a scrap. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.
'The Wolverine' hits theaters July 26th, 2013

@GodofThunder16 ...because they do look silly. In a comic book, yeah it looks perfectly acceptable. On a real person? Have you seen people at comic conventions?

Comment by Jay Perry on October 27, 2012 at 3:30pm It looks good. I'm excited.
this movie may finally answer my question: I always wonder, after a movie bombs horribly, can they come back with a good movie WITHOUT rebooting it? Lets find out.
Comment by GodofThunder16 on October 26, 2012 at 2:34pm James Mangold said that this movie takes place after the original X-Men trilogy, but that the film will also have flashback scenes and I would assume that this is a part of one of them. I'm sure that Fox knows that they are under the microscope in the comic book movie department, because of their glaring neglect to continuity. These Fox films are very complicated and they raise a lot of questions. How will this film set the stage for Days of Future Past? What will be the big conflict to arise in that film that will cause for Bishop/Kitty/Cable to have to go back into the past? Will that conflict already have happened before the time this film takes place? Why the hell does Fred always think it's a good idea for the group to split up? As much as I love X-Men, I hate Fox equally for what they have done to them. Unless The Wolverine and Days of Future Past can correct all the mistakes made and receive outstanding reviews, I'll have to pass on both of them. I know a lot of people felt that they redeemed themselves with First Class, but not in my eyes. In fact that movie just added to the inconsistancy to the franchise by mishandling Beast, Emma Frost and Havok. And on top of all that, Matthew Vaughn just dropped out of Days of Future Past and Fox is trying to bring back Bryan Singer, the guy who started this whole thing (and not in a good way). He commited the first act of disrespect to the X-Men twelve years ago by not only not giving them their uniforms, but putting them down and calling them silly. Even having the characters in the film make jokes about them. And that's something that I still haven't gotten over.

Comment by Luke Hero on October 26, 2012 at 12:10pm Where does this movie stand in the fucked up x-men continuity because i lost track of the timeline after wolverines origins.

Most of the Xmen movies do suck....Fox has handle this terribly....but at least they can rebuild & reboot without actually having to do so...In the next movie "Days of Future Past"....Hopefully there is some sort of time travel BS to get things right....I can only hope Marvel gets their hands back on the film rights one day while I'm still living
Comment by Qui'Arrah on October 26, 2012 at 10:08am I absolutely love Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. As an actor in general really. He's an amazing actor with outstanding talent. Not to mention he can kick a whole lot of ass! It's great to see him back as Wolverine doing one of the many things he does best ^_^ After First Class, I was looking forward to seeing some more X-Men films. Anything to take away the pain we were all left with after Last Stand and Wolverine Origins. (Deadpool! Why?!)
But yeah! I won't get my hopes too high but I'll continue to hope for the best as I do with a lot of my favorites-turned-movies. There is always room for greatness at the top and Marvel is bringing it :3
Comment by mjtfreeze on October 26, 2012 at 8:22am I take it, this is a flashback scene.
