Randy Lander posted a statusChristopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises' is no stranger to the viral marketing campaign. Last December we saw a leaked document, purportedly from the CIA, reporting that a prominent nuclear scientist (a character in the film) had gone missing. This latest batch is from the Gotham PD. The documents include a wanted poster and warrant for the arrest of John Doe, alias The Batman. There are also rolls of film that, when developed, reveal what appear to be clips from the new trailer, which is set to premiere later this week as well as in theaters before 'The Avengers.' Take a look at the docs below and let us know what you think. Feel free to visit the official TDKR website for enlargements.

"In Nolan we Trust." obviously sounds like they're saying that they trust Nolan OR it could mean they worship Nolan as though they think he actually is God which is basically quite stupid but I have encountered two people on this site who insist Nolan is literally God!
So yeah I'm asking what the phrase means!
Comment by Dilster3000 on May 1, 2012 at 12:40pm No it was Mr. Dent it was Mr. Dent!

Comment by GJohns on May 1, 2012 at 9:47am You're actually asking what they mean when they say "In Nolan, we trust"?
You never thought it could mean they trust Nolan's decision-making when it comes to directing? =\

Oh please shut up lads! Nolan fans have given all fans the very negative image of mindless fanboys saying crap like "In Nolan we trust!" What's that even supposed to mean anyway, he's not God! GROW UP!
I'll be glad when the hype is over and we can just watch the film already!
Comment by GJohns on May 1, 2012 at 9:12am All this time, I thought people made a valid point when they kept saying Bane was too small. However, isn't is height/weight approx. 6'2"/225lbs before he pumps in the venom? That's pretty much the height and weight portrayed in this movie (Hardy is shorter but he is portrayed about or a bit taller than Bale, who is actually 6').
With the venom, then Bane is the monstrous, but if Nolan isn't going for the cartoony venom angle, then why would he be monstrous in the movie? It's better they focus on his already imposing stature, brutality and intellect rather than draw too much attention to him being the Juggernaut and punching through walls.

Comment by Christian Bergman Jr. on May 1, 2012 at 7:22am Y'know why he sounded muffled in the earlier promotional material? Because they didn't want you to figure out who he was.
