Sometimes you get excited for a movie based on its cast, other times you find yourself anticipating the film by virtue of the director involved. In the case of 'Seven Psychopaths,' my anticipation level is through the roof due to both sides of that equation. It was written/directed by Martin McDonagh ('In Bruges') and stars the likes of Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, and Woody Harrelson. The plot revolves around a group of people who make their living as dog-nappers, and what happens when they steal the beloved pet of a total, well, psychopath. This latest trailer is absolutely fantastic. Walken's back-and-forth with the guy trying to hold him at gunpoint had me cackling. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

It's always jarring to see actors who played bad-asses be normal people. I recently watched London Boulevard where Collin Farrell was a fearless gangster and now he's puking over a little blood

The Hobbit aside, this is my most anticipated movie of the year. That fucking cast man. Gonna laff me balls off.

Give Walken his Oscar now.

I loved In Bruges. if this is only half the movie that was, it'll still be twice as good as most movies that have come out in the past few years. I checked the math twice.

i laughed my ass off with the part w/ Walken "put your hands up"..."NOoo"..."but i got a gun!"..."I dont care"..."but that doesnt make any sense!"..."too bad!".

i love the way he delivered the lines. seems like a lot of good chemistry in this film.

As nightmarishly beautiful yet depressing as In Bruge was, I thought the director did a first rate job which is why I'm looking forward to seeing this movie (which I just learned about here).  I'm not a big hitman/gang/etc. fan, especially when it's self-consciously quirky or "humorous", but I'm excited by who's behinmd the camera.  Any other shlub directing and I wouldn't give this a second glance.
