'Fireflies in the Garden' Trailer Released

After languishing in distribution hell for the last two and a half years, the first trailer for 'Fireflies in the Garden' has finally been released. The film centers around Ryan Reynolds as writer Michael Waechter and the strained relationship between he and his overbearing father Charles (Willem Dafoe). An accident on the way to a family reunion turns the happy event into a tragedy when his mother (played by Julia Roberts) is killed in a car accident, leaving the members of the family to try and reassemble their broken relationships. The drama is the feature directorial debut for Dennis Lee who also wrote the semi-autobiographical screenplay after the death of his mother. The film will be in theaters October 14th.

I have this on DVD. It was alright; I related to it. It's a father, son kind of movie. Ryan is not bad in it; very different role for him. Best performance was the younger reynolds' in the movie.

You could tell this movie is old because Ryan Reynolds still has the beard from Amityville Horror.
