New The Day the Earth Stood Still Trailer
Alright, now this remake is starting to look interesting. MTV debuted this new trailer for 20th Century Fox's The Day the Earth Stood Still. Opening in theaters and IMAX on December 12, the remake stars Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Connelly, Kathy Bates, Jaden Smith, Jon Hamm and Kyle Chandler.
After watching this all I will say is this. Kill 'em All Gort!

Am I the only one that is kind of saddened/sickened that they're remaking this movie? I really liked the original version. (So what it's in black and white and doesn't have a multi-million dollar special effects budget...)

see its remakes like this that i don't mind a good movie that was made in the 1950's that just need a more in depth story and the incusion of visual effect that it needed so i will be seeing this in a matinee look better than war of the worlds
