Although I gave up on 'Family Guy' not too long ago, something about the idea of a film in which Mark Wahlberg lives with a teddy bear that can talk, walk, and make lewd jokes made me laugh. The "Thunder Buddies" song from the initial red band trailer didn't hurt none either. But what the initial trailer didn't really explain was how the movie functioned conceptually; something this latest TV spot does. If I had known then that the conceit was that a young boy wishes for his teddy bear to talk, gets his wish, and then doesn't know what to do with that magical bear once he grows up, I would have been even more on board. It would be like what would've happened if winter never ended and those kids had to live with a foul-mouthed Frosty the Snowman forever. Take a look at the TV spot below and let us know what you think.
'Ted' hits theaters June 29th

Comment by The Gaming King on June 12, 2012 at 2:28pm Okay, the parents' reaction to the teddy bear being alive is pretty fuckin funny.
Comment by MightyShakaZulu on June 12, 2012 at 2:20pm Horray, 1 hour and 30 minutes of Family Guy....
Comment by BungleFever on June 12, 2012 at 2:09pm Meh...
Comment by Composite Who Horrible on June 12, 2012 at 2:08pm This is also note worthy as the very first time in these trailers that people have reacted in the proper manner to a living, talking teddy bear.
Comment by Lavender Uke on June 12, 2012 at 2:05pm Think this will be remotely funny for the first 30 minutes but, once the joke feels tired, it'll be a piece of shit. Unless they decise to get creative with this premise, which I doubt.
