New Stills From 'G.I. Joe Retaliation'
Bring on the popcorn, the giant soda, and the rampant 80s nostalgia, it's almost 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' season! I'm so pumped for Jon Chu's sequel to 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra' that I can barely stand it. While it may end up being just as dumb and unwatchable as 'Rise of Cobra,' something about what we've seen so far has me confident that 'Retaliation' will be a more thoroughly, spectacularly entertaining film. These latest images from the film are the perfect start to my weekend. My favorite is the shot of Cobra Commander in full regalia as marches down the battlefield accompanied by Storm Shadow (Byung-hun Lee). Awesome! I'm just a DIEHARD joe fan man. Since I was 12 i had all the action figures, playsets, comics, etc. I just hate it when Hollywood takes stuff we liked as a kid and pisses all over it. I feel the same way about TRANSFORMERS. I hope to god they don't ruin THUNDERCATS next.

I'll hate it before and after it comes out. It's a GIJOE movie directed by the dude who directed STEP UP movies. That's enough reason for me to hate it aside from the fact that they totally disregard the source material.

In the second pic the costumes look ridiculous, and the weapons look like nerf.
Still this is something I would go see.
