Whether or not it's an 'Alien' prequel, I am still pumped to see Ridley Scott return to sci-fi with this summer's 'Prometheus.' In fact, I am so pumped to delve into the film's many surprises that this will probably be the last behind-the-scenes featurette that I watch. For those of you who crave to see as much footage as possible before walking into the theater, this clip has plenty for you to chew on. And to be fair, I don't think it spoils anything...or at least I don't feel spoiled. However I fear we're entering the point of no return for spoilery material and I don't really want to know anymore than I do right now. That being said, this is a pretty cool featurette and we'd love for you to view it and tell us what you think.

'Prometheus' lands in theaters June 8th

It actually takes place on the planet LV223. LV426 was a planetoid with .86 gravity.

I am so excited!

For the love of God, it is the prequel to ALIEN! I thought the planet LV426 and the undeniable 'Space Jockey' would have given that away by now.

I'm not overly excited about this film (all the excitement I'm capable of is currently being directed at Diablo 3), but I have been impressed by these little teasers. The "meet David" one was especially good. This is exactly how movies should be marketed at this point in time.

Another reason this needs to be good:

We all know that Ridley Scott wants to return to the Bladerunner universe.  In my opinion, Prometheus is going to be an indication of THAT movie's quality.  If Scott damages the Alien Franchise, then my hopes for him preserving Bladerunner's integrity will drop by a lot.  If this is good, we'll be able to rest a little easier when he starts working on the Bladerunner film.  He hasn't don't Sci-Fi for quite awhile, let's hope he's still got it.

Even if the movie does suck, you got to emit it, Ridley Scott knows how to put together a set...

This better be good. Been doing more than my fair share of hyping.

I hope this is great.  Both the Alien franchise and Ridley Scott depends on it.
