New Poster For 'The Hunger Games'
As the release date for Gary Ross' 'The Hunger Games,' based on the novel by Suzanne Collins, draws into our sights, more and more marketing material is flooding the web. Take for example this recently released poster for the film. In the poster, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) similarly has us in her sights; ready to fire an arrow into our unsuspecting faces. My only complaint with this poster is that Lawrence's complexion is so unnaturally smooth as to give her the appearance of being made of wax. Take a look at the poster and let us know what you think.

@Chris - That's kind of my point. Thematically, there are many stories like this. Battle Royale was hardly the first. This may be a story about kids killing one another, but it's in a totally different setting and context from Battle Royale. Nothing is new or original. Absolutely nothing. That's not an indictment, that's a fact.

I don't like how photoshopped her face looks, but I other than that it's a cool poster. I can't wait for this movie to come out :)
