New Pics Of Karl Urban As Judge Dredd
I'm going to get this out of the way immediately, I love Sylvester Stallone's 'Judge Dredd.' Is it a good film? Hell no! But it's a giant bucket of deep-fried, buttery popcorn fun. That being said, I am even more interested in seeing Karl Urban's take on the role in this year's 'Dredd.' I got the chance to speak with Urban at Fantastic Fest when he was here with 'Red,' and I was astonished at his deep love for the character and his dizzying knowledge of the comic books. To help with envisioning what that Urban's Dredd will look like, two new set images have just been released. The first image shows Dredd laying down the law, and the second is a snapshot of Urban with costar Olivia Thirlby ('Juno'). I will admit that the size of the helmet is...a bit silly. However, I'm still excited to see the film as it still looks kind of awesome. Take a look at the pics below and judge for yourself.
'Dredd' is due in theaters September 21st

That girl looks like a kid. I'm looking forward to this movie, big time. I loved the Sylvester Stallone movie, from the 90's.

Does Spy Kids have this kind of violence?
I'm going to go out on a limb as one of the few Dredd fans on spill and say that most of you will be eating your words when this one is released.
