New Pics of 'Captain America' - And Sneak Peek!

Marvel.com just released two brand new images of Chris Evans in full costume as "Captain America: The First Avenger":

Considering that it comes out nearly four months from now, marketing on the film has been quite slow, pushing back the full-length trailer the last three weeks in a row, and even scheduling a full round of last-minute reshoots after studio executives were displeased with dailies. However, we have these two new pictures out, and it looks like Entertainment Tonight is finally getting that promo footage they were promised back in January, so fingers crossed that we might actually get to see a full-length trailer for the film in the coming week.

“Captain America: The First Avenger” will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull (Hugo Weaving).
The superhero film arrives in theaters on July 22nd.

Still happy to see that this film is going to be still eye appealing and that the story looks to be more faithful than that 90's movie that no one under the age of 20 on this site would even know what I am talking about. Still hopeful for this flick and they aren't really advertising it which could mean that it doesn't need the advertising or that the trailer really sucks. The rocketeer wasn't bad at all and being that its the same director I can only see good things for this film.
