Directed by Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), the "re-imagining" of the classic horror film stars Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Aaron Yoo, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle and Derek Mears.

Still not that crazy about that dirty overshirt he wears in all the new movies but I love Jason's new look. If I saw this guy in a dark alley I know I'd be scared shitless. I'm guessing most critics will hate this movie and probably most movie buffs but, I'm still excited to see this. Mostly because I haven't seen an actually tension filled, Friday film since the first few. The new movies got so damn goofy, especially Jason X which I consider one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Excuse me Doctor Detflink, have you watched ANY of the Friday the 13th films? Let's see about worthy adversaries...oh yeah, there was the character known as TOMMY Jarvis, who is in three of the films, no less. You claim the Friday films lack freshness, but that the Halloween series does? I'm sorry, I'll take the repetitive machete kills over Michael Myers engaging in a kung fu match with Mos Def.

Yippie, Jared and Jensen from Supernatural are both in remakes. Are they trying to get us fangirls into the seats? Its not gonna work, half the girls who watch Supernatural hate horror movies. I am not one of em, I just hate stupid horror movies.

This is why I don't like remakes...well I do but not alot. In the original, we all know Jason mom is the killer but in this Jason is. I kinda do wish Jason mom was the killer in this one

I just can't think of any way they can spin this to give me a reason to fork out $$$ and not rent the older films for $. There's only so many ways you can kill teenagers @ a camp. Plus, Jason never had a resourceful adversary as charismatic or clever as Nancy in Nightmare or Jamie Lee Curtis in Halloween.
