New 'Pacific Rim' Trailer With Extra Footage

Well that tears it, 'Pacific Rim' is my most anticipated film of 2013. I've been psyched for it ever since hearing the central conceit, and the fact that Guillermo del Toro is directing, but the trailers have really been amazing. The first trailer blew my mind, and this latest one finished the job by pulverizing the vacant head hole where my mind used to be. The extra footage shows even more of the robot vs. alien battle scenes, and they are absolutely incredible. Take a look at the new trailer below and let us know what you think.

'Pacific Rim' smashes its way into theaters July 12th

This can either be one of my favorite movies ever or the equivalent of Sucker Punch....THERE IS NO MIDDLEGROUND.

@coffeespill I am pretty sure they are in the mechs if you look on the blueprints of the jaegers released in Dec. Some are in the head, some in the torso. Some are dual piloted, some have 3 pilots, and I think there is one which is piloted solo. I WILL be seeing this for the fights, visuals, and the general awe. If the story is weak it won't surprise me but with del Toro at the helm I won't be concerned. I also want to see what role will Ron Perlman have.

Can I say without a doubt that this is everything I've ever dreamed of?!

I'm really glad to see that GLADOS is still getting work. I will be seeing this movie to help support her new film career. So... Giant lizard like creature popping out of the Pacific ocean terrorizing what looks to be parts of Japan and California, yet this has nothing to do with Godzilla? Are we sure this is not the Godzilla movie we want to see?

Ummm...ok...looks like a decent popcorn flick. Big, stupid and pretty...and of course always at night. I see why Salisbury is excited...maybe I'll PB it afterward.
