New Look at Snake Eyes from 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation'
'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' may not be hitting theaters until the end of June, but in the meantime Paramount and MGM have released a brand new hi-res image of returning character Snake Eyes. Judging from the recent trailers, it appears this entry in the franchise will feature ninjas heavily in the plot, with Snake Eyes at the forefront. Gone is the creepy "nonmouth" of the previous costume, as well as the weird molded muscle-suit. Instead, it seems that they've gone for almost a 'Dark Knight' style body armor design and a much sleeker helmet:
What do you think? Better than the previous design? Worse? How about the film as a whole - do you think this new film might be everything fans hoped for in the first? Or is 'GI Joe' simply pulling a 'Ghost Rider' where it looks good in a trailer, but still blows on the screen? Post a comment below and let us know!

I think this is the movie people were hoping for back in 2009 and plus the Rock is on a good hot streak as far as action movies right now because to be honest other than the cars, rock was the best thing in fast five

It certainly looks more like the G.I. Joe we all watched/read/purchased as toys (at least more so than the last movie), although maybe Snake-eyes seems a bit bulky in this outfit to be a super agile black ops ninja, but the more important question is will the writing be up to par?
