New 'Jack Reacher' Poster
I have my issues with Tom Cruise, namely that he's a complete freaking whackjob, but it's hard to deny the guy is a movie star in the truest sense of the word. Love him or hate him, Cruise can carry a movie almost effortlessly. That, coupled with the footage the first trailer revealed, has me rather excited for Christopher McQuarrie's 'Jack Reacher.'This new poster for the film however, probably won't do much to bring other people on board who weren't already. It's not a bad poster, just quite unremarkable. The tagline could also be used to describe any vigilante film. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.

Tomb Cruise is probably in the best shape of his career both physically and as an actor. I think he is one actor that can and does keep his personal life and work life completely separate. He may be a total fucking wacko off screen, but on screen he is always on fire. If you look back at his career I don't think he has ever done a bad movie. Most people talk shit about Vanilla Sky but I love that shit. And Les Grossman I thought was a brilliant character and a fantastic performance. I am serious he really went all out on that one. And Rock of Ages, he was an 80's rock star.
As for the poster yeah its horrible. I see no reason why its so bad. Its like they were not able to get Tomb Cruise to go in for a photo shoot so they just did some really bad splicing in photoshop.

Tom Cruise is the wrong guy for this kind of role because he projects arrogance. I don't hate him as an actor. He rocked "Collateral." But he doesn't make sense to play the rough guy who lives by a code and helps the innocent. He's too smug for that. Not bad, just miscast.
