New Images From 'Thor: The Dark World'
Not all set photos are created equal. Sure, it's nice to see a glimpse of the production design, and seeing an actor in costume hanging out at the craft services table is all well and good. But it's pics like today's batch from 'Thor: The Dark World' that really get us pumped. The new images from the set of Alan Taylor's film depict a massive battle with plenty of sword clashing and even some explosions. We even catch a glimpse of Sif (Jaimie Alexander) riding her warhorse. So awesome. Take a look at the images below and let us know what you think.

@Nightshadow: Dark matter, not dark magic. The same stuff that powered the Cube and apparently ose space bridges or wormholes. Think of the Bifrost as a dark matter generator, and Odin had to use his limited reserves just to send one man back. Likely that took a shit-ton of whatever was left.
Question: Why is Sif's shield so tiny? That thing is barely a buckler.

Because Thor destroyed the Bifröst making it very difficult to get to earth. In the Avengers it is stated that Odin had to use dark magic to get Thor to earth.
