Comment by KGishFish on August 26, 2011 at 8:31pm @TheVern I know what you mean, but I doubt Fincher will tone down anything in Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. He's never been known for playing it safe. The poster certainly wasn't toned down at all. So looking forward to that movie!
Comment by Cody on August 26, 2011 at 6:54pm I'm intrigued about Sherlock Holmes 2, although I felt there was room for improvement in the first, I really liked the direction and actors.
@Ron Grijs
I hadn't heard about this ending change, but now I'm excited. I felt the ending in the movie (haven't read the book) was less satisfying and unusual then the rest of it.
Comment by NP2238 on August 26, 2011 at 4:40pm I am looking forward to the both films but keeping my expectations low so I can enjoy them more. :|

Comment by Ron Grijs on August 26, 2011 at 6:59am @Sam, are you confusing the two films? Daniel Graig plays a journalist in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. You make it sound as if he is a detective in SH2.
BTW, Graig was a good casting choice. In the book his character is a lady's man although I never felt like he was conventionally handsome. Graig has that look as well as the acting abilties to put forth a believable performance.
I can't wait for both films. Loved the Dragon Tattoo novel but could never get into the Swedish movie adaption. This American version looks like it is more to my tastes alhtough I fear for what Fincher did with the ending... And Sherlock Holmes... always fun to see Downey in weird roles. To me he is like Johhny Depp except I haven't grown tired of seeing him everywhere.
