New Images From Edgar Wright's 'The World's End'
Any time a new Edgar Wright film lingers on the horizon, anticipation runs very high. The guy is a mad genre genius and a true geek luminary. As his new film is Wright's reuniting with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, that anticipation is exponentially augmented. 'The World's End' is the final chapter of The Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy; 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' being the preceding two. 'The World's End' tells the story of a group of friends reattempting a pub crawl from their youth. As they reconnect with their younger days, the world itself approaches apocalypse. New images from the film have just hit the web. The first shows the five gents chugging pints. In addition to Pegg and Frost, the cast boasts Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, and Eddie Marsan. The second image is far more dramatic; featuring Pegg posed with a look of madness on his face. Yup, I'm even more excited. Take a look at the images below and let us know what you think.
