New Image of Karl Urban as 'Dredd'

A new image of Karl Urban as Judge Dredd from the upcoming film 'Dredd' has been released. Adapted from the popular and long-running comic by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, the dystopic story is set in the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd is the most feared of the elite Street Judges, each with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot – if necessary. Previously turned into a schlocky action comedy starring Sylvester Stallone and Rob Schneider (*shiver*), this new adaptation promises to be much darker and closer to the actual source material.
Adapted for the sceen by '28 Days Later' scribe Alex Garland, 'Dredd' will explode into theaters in 2012.

It's hard to say that karl urban is too small, if you look at pictures from the comics judge dredd isn't exactly sylvester stallone size, based on what i googled for the comics i have to think the biggest issue is the way judge dredd's face is drawn with the helmet.

The helmet looks big, but as long as he never takes it off, then the film will be one point better than the Stallone film

I think it's not so much a case of the helmet being to big, but Karl Urban being too small. Too small to be Judge Dredd anyhow.
