Adam Collins joined RYAN CORDERMAN's groupI was already excited by the prospect of a Shane Black directed 'Iron Man 3,' but after seeing the first trailer recently, the movie has rocketed its way up my list of most anticipated films of 2013. In particular, I am really interested to see how his first cinematic outing with The Avengers has changed Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) and how that change will affect his ability to take on the dreaded Mandarin. Another great image of Sir Ben Kingsley as the iconic nemesis has just landed online. It's not revolutionary in comparison to the other shots we've seen of him, but it's that classic pose of a pensive villain in his lair. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

@Dr.Detfink thank you for pointing out that he is actually Asian/Indian...tired of people complaining about the race thing. And honestly I think he will be great as Mandarin.

Comment by Mr. Redemption (TheCinephilePro) on November 4, 2012 at 11:16am I don't get it, what did Gandhi hate so much about Stark's house? IT LOOKED FRIGGIN' AWESOME.
Comment by David on November 3, 2012 at 8:38pm What is that t-shirt he's wearing? He's got on a "normal" looking shirt, he's got a Captain American tattoo on his neck...odd choices. I'm curious as to how they explain it. I mean, they've got the beard/long robe, so they can't exactly modernize his look with bro gear.
Comment by Red Edge on November 3, 2012 at 6:51pm I'm not intensely familiar with the source material. but i felt like the Mandarin was one of the weaker villeins as far as bad guy carizma went. kinda wanna see something about armor wars but I think this set up defiantly has potential. I'm betting it's going to be pretty cool.
"Hmmm... Do you think I over did the ring thing?"
Comment by Boatloads1017 on November 3, 2012 at 3:44pm Okay, now he just looks like he walked off the set of The Hobbit.
Comment by Grand Master Bushido Brown on November 3, 2012 at 2:29pm Awesome!!
Comment by Lavender Uke on November 3, 2012 at 9:54am I'm okay with them making Manderin middle-eastern because it's more relevant with the times. The original was just an asian sterotype.
I'm guessing the rings will be a different group of terrorists or thieves (such as the one in Iron Man 1) used to steal technology.
