New 'Goon' Trailer Promises Blood On Ice
I can't tell you how excited I am for Michael Dowse's hockey comedy 'Goon' starring Sean William Scott. It has been forever since we've had a violence-fueled, vulgar hockey film. The last one that comes to mind is 1977's 'Slap Shot' starring Paul Newman. In 'Goon,' Scott plays a hockey fan with such a developed propensity for violence that he's invited to join the local team as a skating blunt instrument of rage. Check out the trailer and see if you can count the punches!

I 100% thought this was about THE Goon, that it was back in the running and going to get the silver screen it so richly deserves.
I...I guess I can watch a hockey movie instead...

Don't like hockey, but I'll watch this movie...It always amazed me that hockey players are expected to beat the crap out of each other, yet when football players or basketball players do it...they are vilified
