If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Tim Burton is a director who has come under great scrutiny in recent years for his propensity for adapating other people's work. He's remade 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,' 'Planet of the Apes,' done a big screen adaptation of 'Sweeney Todd,' and even converted a trading card series into a movie with 'Mars Attacks.' So now he's remaking...his own film? I'm not sure if that's better or worse. Recently, this new image from Burton's 'Frankenweenie,' the feature-length remake of his 1984 short about a boy resurrecting his fallen canine companion, arrived showcasing the film's black-and-white, unmistakeably Tim Burton-y aesthetic. The updated version will feature the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Catherine O'Hara, and Martin Short. Take a look below and tell us what you think.
