New 'Expendables 2' Poster
I'm rather excited for Simon West's 'Expendables 2,' but I have no illusions as to what it really is: a glossy, grand-scale exploitation film. It's a gimmick in which handfuls of b-movie and otherwise schlocky cinema legends are tossed into one film; loaded with action until the seams burst. That's why I love this new poster for the film, which will be given out at Comic Con during the 'Expendables 2' panel. It's a cheesy, chaotic throwback to the golden era of exploitation marketing. Amazing. Take a gander at the poster below and let us know what you think.

The first expendables was okay. If you're a man and you jus want a straight forward balls to the wall action movie, then there you go. The story did kind of suck. And some of the acting was blah.
As far as the second one goes, I don't know. Looks like more action which I like! And the story sounds better than the first. But the villain, JCVD, okay. I never liked his acing. He just seems one note. I've never seen him actually deliver a powerful performance. But I'll still watch it cause I love any fight scenes he does

I really wasn't impressed or really all that entertained by the first Expendables, but this poster and the trailer give me hope that Expendables 2 will be better. I'm not looking for incredible drama, but I would like to have a story and character motivations that actually make sense this time. Maybe that's too much to ask for from a shoot 'em up summer flick, but with Chuck Norris how can it disappoint? There should at least be a few neck-breaks.
