martin fry posted a statusSay what you want about the idea of remaking 'Judge Dredd,' I am still pumped to see Karl Urban's take on the violent, fascist law enforcer. I know the guy is a huge fan of the comic books and whether or not the movie is a success, I admire his dedication to getting the character right. This brand new, and evidently last, poster for Pete Travis' 'Dredd'has just hit the web and I love how it feels like a throwback to an 80s b-movie. Seriously, I want this thing on the wall in my office right the hell now. Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.
'Dredd'comes crashing into theaters September 21st

Comment by The Dubya on August 6, 2012 at 9:46am At least with Batman, everything's color coordinated correctly so it can look dark and brutal and menacing. I don't even really notice the bat ears.
Here you got the monochromatic police superdude get-up....then BAM. Bright ass red helmet outta nowhere. That'd be like if all the sudden Batman suddenly decided to put on pink wings to his costume.
Just LIKE with Batman and many superheros, hopefully they can sell folks on the wardrobe at least. At least the one person on the lonely island of Haterade like I'm apparently on...

Comment by The Dubya on August 5, 2012 at 11:41pm I'm sorry, but that bright red helmet looks goofy as hell....

Should be ok at least, I doubt it's going to downright flop given what I've seen so far but of course people are going to blow it out of proportion either way.
To Richard Dempsey: I don't think it will. I heard it was well revieved at Comic Con, so maybe it will do well everywhere else.
Comment by HellFeast on August 4, 2012 at 11:48am This movie just wont be the same without that Legend of Acting that is Rob Schneider...............DERP
