New 'Despicable Me 2' Trailer
The first trailers for the upcoming animated sequel 'Despicable Me 2' have given us a lot of minions, but not much to go on in the way of plot. We knew of course that Gru (Steve Carell) would be returning with his trio of adopted daughters, but what would be the premise this time around? The latest trailer gives us precisely that. It seems Gru will be recruited by the Anti-Villain League to provide consultation that may help stop a new supervillain. The thing that stands out the most about this trailer of course is its odd use of Eminem's "Without Me." Never thought I'd see the day when that song was featured prominently in the trailer for a family film. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

I enjoyed the first one despite not liking the trailers. I'm going to hold out for this one and hope that it's the same situation.

What happened to the plot about the Minions being kidnapped? I'm guessing him meeting the League in the beginning, fails to stop the new villain, and in retaliation has the Minions stolen?? Or something....

Looks good, but I'm really cautious. Going into spy territory for a sequel is very nerve-wracking as it rarely works. It makes some sense, but still...this company hasn't made a good movie since the first Despicable Me.

Too me all these CG animated movies are the SAME. Wanna impress me? do a more hardcore version of CLONE WARS. this shit doesn't impress me at all.
