New 'Dark Knight Rises' Set Pics and Videos

Can't get enough set footage from 'The Dark Knight Rises'? Neither can we. Recently, a few more videos have surfaced from the filming in New York City detailing what looks to be a motorcycle chase through the streets of Gotham. One of the passengers looks like he might be Christian Bale, or at least it looks enough like Bale to be his stunt double. Watch these motorcycles race through the streets and jump police cars!

***WARNING: SPOILERS***

These images have also surfaced in which the reported "Batcopter" hovers over what appears to be the exact same (or at least very similar) doomsday device that Bane wheeled into Gotham Stadium in a previous leaked video (which you can see HERE). Not exactly sure what it is, but if Bats isn't willing to approach it on foot, it must be something particularly nasty.

@Fungusmonkey: It...looks...like a copter??? AT what point? Just the picture here has large turbine fans in pods in the front of the machine, suggesting jet engines of some sort, and a huge humped delta shape in the back. Without a tail section or a normal areodynamic "bottle" shape, the thing looks like a spacecraft. I would accept it as some kind of jet-like VTOL before considering as a helicopter. In fact, it would make more sense.

But this? This is kinda silly for a film that prides itself on realism. Personally, I feel the series need LESS realism and more of the fantastic...it IS a frickin' superhero film...but with other considerations, it looks...odd.

And the bomb...sure, it looks like a big round ball with a timer...but the two weird metal braces around it scream sci-fi, thus the Event Horizon jokes.

I don't get all the hate. 1) looks like the core of a large explosive device to me. 2) why are people banging on the Batcopter? It looks cool, and once the propeller blades are added in, it should just look like a stylized copter. and 3) who says these scenes aren't at night? You do realize that most of the "night scenes" you see in films are shot during the day and then just color corrected in post, right? Otherwise there wouldn't be enough light to get detail in the image. They shoot during midday (to avoid hard shadows) and then they just bring down the exposure and add a blue tint to the frame. It's a pretty standard look.

Not that I'm debunking it, mind you. If it's during the day, no big deal. Batman does fight crime during the day. Often. He's not exactly the type to say "oops, Bane is planting a bomb at 2pm! I don't start work until midnight! Too bad, Gotham!" lol

@ nightshadow

I think it's made kinda obvious by the guy who's just nonchalantly taking out the trash back there. And don't complain about the bat-copter I think it looks pretty cool. Plus, everything looks better once a little bit of movie magic is added to it.

I suddenly have the urge to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for some reason...

Ok, so we have a 'realistic' Batman movie series...where Batman flies a black Terminator-like Hunter-Killer that just laid an egg that looks like the warp-drive device from Event Horizon...
