It'll still be a few weeks B4 we get to see Peter Berg's 'Battleship,' but the advertising push is already starting to heat up. In this latest TV spot, it seems the optimal word is certainly "battle." The new spot is less concerned with the mystery of who the aliens are, and far more interested in showing the humans struggling to kick their extraterrestrial asses back to whatever planet they came from. But hey, can we really lose with Liam Neeson on our side? Take a look at the TV spot below and let us know what you think.

'Battleship' hits theaters May 18th

Just saw this with some friends.  It was entertaining, but only if you completely leave your brain at the door. The same 4 characters run around and do pretty much everything saving mankind by themselves, as usual.

Oh, and Rihanna - she cannot act for shit. Her character is just laughable.  I give it a high Rental. Go by all means, but don't take your brain in. Its not needed.

I saw this early last week and i was excited as fuck but the movie is BORING as hell. The aliens pop up out of some BS explanation and at the end...you'll see. Its like transformers, awesome effects...dull movie. It wasn't even fun, i just wanted it to be over. There's a scene in the middle of the film involving war veterans in an action scene and you'll SWEAR Micheal bay directed this thing. The trailers and tv spots are sick but the movie doesn't even come close to living up to even half the excitement it promises. I really hate when shit like that happens. The dialogue is absolutely horrible, dry, and honestly felt like they were written in twenty fucking minutes. I expected alot more from peter berg, he usually delivers.

Who came up with the pun on the front page. Because that was just bad.

Its not bad. I mean its stupid as hell, but the alien designs and battles are awesome. If u ignore the logic of the humans, its a decent enough watch. Probably a rental.

It hasn't even opened in all foreign markets and it's already grossed a $130 million overseas. That sucks, it means it'll definitely make money when it comes out here, so we'll be definitely getting a sequel. This movie looks horrendous. it has a 48% on rotten tomatoe from about 50 critics. I'm guessing that number will keep going down in the next few weeks. It's nothing more then a transformers rip off; and ripoffs are never as good as the originals. So that really puts this films quality into perspective

From The UK to america don't pay to see this film in the cinema it is a rental at most

Saw it in Australia. Even though I thought the trailers were meh still thought maybe the actions scenes will rock........the worst movie I have seen in 2012 thus far.
