Assemble your eyeballs, Spillios. Not only has Marvel just released a brand-spankin-new poster for Joss Whedon's super anticipated 'The Avengers' through their official Facebook profile, but they've also indicated that we'll be getting a new trailer tomorrow. I sure hope the trailer is amazing, because this poster is pretty lame. It's a total Photoshop job that illustrates the collective power of The Avengers themselves to...not know where the threat is coming from. Seriously, why are they all looking in different directions? Anywho, take a look a the poster below and let us know what you think. We'll have the new trailer for you when it drops.

'The Avengers' assemble at your local multiplex May 4th

My illustration lecturer would complain about the actors looking lost. & Capt looks like a giant if you consider his placement behind Mr. Jackson in the perspective... He's nearly as tall as Hulk!!! Huh... Does that mean he might grew in height in movie??!!

Well, jokes aside, I have high hopes for this movie... & they should really start finalising every production already by now.

Hey Arsene Lupin- (or anyone who wants to chime in) what do you think?

Yeah I know it's blurry. These guys kind look like they could be from one of the other eight realms Thor talked about...if there's are no fan fare reference to the invading army being one marvel's alien races...I'll be surprised...

Something that needs to be mentioned is that this is the UK poster for the film (hence why it says "Avengers Assemble" instead of "The Avengers"). That means that it was most likely created by a third party marketing firm for the overseas release, not Disney. Rule of thumb - when you hire a third party, you get sh** like this.

I hope the movie wont be as generic as this poster. LAME.

I'll have to take a closer look at some screen caps.

Mr.Jordan, they don't look kree and i'd be pissed if that's what the kree look like in the movie U

So who do you guys think the alien army is in the film? I'm betting it's the Kree. Last time we saw Loki he was sucked into something that looks like a black hole. Probably out there in space, comes across the conquering Kree empire and wanting earth for himself (since he couldn't take Asgaurd) works his trickery and convinces the Kree that earth is a great strategic asset. Plotting the whole time to stab them in the back once the earth is taken and claim it for his own...along with the cosmic cube of course...you know...Thor end credits...

I'm sorry but it just looks... CHEAP!
